Powered by a Qualcomm Dragonwing quad-core processor, Android 14 operating system, and 32GB of internal storage, the IQ Panel 5 delivers responsive performance and a platform designed to support future feature and device integrations. Its 7-inch capacitive glass touchscreen provides a clear 1280 × 800 interface for managing security, automation devices, system status, user access, and connected services.

Built-in PowerG+ supports long-range, encrypted, two-way wireless communication with compatible PowerG and PowerG+ security devices. The panel can support up to 128 PowerG+ security devices, making it suitable for systems ranging from residential installations to larger commercial applications.

The modular SRF architecture allows installers to add a compatible 319.5 MHz, 345 MHz, 433 MHz, or Ethernet daughter card based on the requirements of the project. These optional cards simplify compatible system takeovers while allowing installers to purchase only the radio or network capability needed for each installation.

A built-in Verizon LTE Cat 4 cellular communicator, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0, and an 800-Series Z-Wave Long Range module provide extensive communication and smart-device integration options. Compatibility and Service Requirements

The IQP5017 includes built-in PowerG+ 915 MHz wireless technology. Compatibility with legacy 319.5 MHz, 345 MHz, or 433 MHz wireless sensors requires the appropriate optional SRF daughter card, sold separately. An optional Ethernet daughter card is also available for compatible applications.

This IQP5017 version is configured for Verizon cellular service in the United States. Cellular monitoring, remote access, mobile-app features, and other interactive services require activation through a compatible alarm service provider and an applicable service plan.
