The Honeywell HC35WE5R3 35 Series is a 5MP fixed ball-style turret IP camera designed for dependable indoor and outdoor video surveillance. It records high-resolution video up to 2592 × 1944 at 30 frames per second, providing detailed coverage for retail stores, offices, schools, warehouses, commercial properties and other security-sensitive environments.

Its fixed 2.8mm, f/2.0 lens provides an 88° horizontal field of view for monitoring entrances, rooms, hallways and other broad areas. The ball-style turret design supports flexible positioning with 360° pan, 80° tilt and 360° rotation adjustment during installation.

Honeywell 120dB Wide Dynamic Range preserves important details in scenes containing both bright and dark areas. Backlight compensation, highlight compensation, defog and 2D/3D digital noise reduction further improve video usability in challenging lighting and weather conditions.

Three integrated Smart IR illuminators provide night vision at distances up to approximately 131 feet. Automatic IR control adjusts illumination levels to help prevent nearby subjects from appearing overexposed, while true day/night operation provides color video during the day and clear black-and-white images in complete darkness.

Honeywell Smart Motion Detection uses human and vehicle classification to help reduce false alarms caused by weather, foliage and other irrelevant movement. Additional analytics include intrusion detection, multi-loitering detection, people counting, tampering detection and standard motion detection.

The HC35WE5R3 supports one alarm input and one alarm output for integration with compatible local alarm devices. Line-level audio input and output connections enable two-way, full-duplex audio when compatible external audio equipment is connected.

H.265, H.264 and Motion JPEG compression provide flexible video-streaming options. Honeywell Smart Codec helps reduce bandwidth and storage requirements, while three configurable video streams support different recording and viewing needs. An onboard microSD card slot supports local edge recording on cards up to 256GB.

The camera can be powered through IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet or a separate 12V DC power source. PoE simplifies installation by carrying network data and power through one Ethernet cable.

Its IP66- and IP67-rated die-cast aluminum enclosure protects the camera against dust and water. A wide operating range from -40°F to 140°F makes it suitable for demanding indoor and outdoor environments.

The Honeywell 35 Series is compliant with Section 889 of the U.S. National Defense Authorization Act. Security features include HTTPS, TLS 1.2, AES 128/256 stream encryption, IP filtering and password-protected user accounts.
