The 2GIG EDG-NA-VA EDGE Security and Automation Panel is a professional-grade wireless security and smart-home hub featuring a 7-inch high-resolution touchscreen, built-in Alarm.com Verizon LTE cellular communication, Wi-Fi, facial-recognition disarming, Bluetooth proximity disarming and Z-Wave Plus 700 Series automation.
Designed for residential and small-business security installations, the EDGE panel supports up to 100 wireless zones, two hardwired zones, 100 users and four independently controlled partitions known as Smart Areas. Its powerful quad-core processor performs facial recognition and other analytics directly on the panel, helping keep sensitive user information private instead of sending it to the cloud for processing.
Touchless Security Control
On-device facial recognition and Bluetooth proximity technology allow authorized users to disarm the security system without entering a code. These touchless disarming options provide convenient access while maintaining professional-grade system security.
The panel also supports secure six-digit user codes, one-touch arming and encrypted 2GIG eSeries sensors. It is backward compatible with many older 2GIG and Honeywell wireless sensors, making it suitable for qualifying system upgrades and takeovers.
Verizon LTE and Wi-Fi Dual-Path Communication
A built-in Alarm.com Verizon LTE cellular communicator and integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi provide dual-path system communication. If one communication path becomes unavailable, the other can help maintain contact with the central monitoring station.
The Wi-Fi connection also supports faster over-the-air firmware updates and system communication. Alarm.com service, cellular activation and professional monitoring require a compatible service plan.
Integrated Smart-Home Automation
The built-in Z-Wave Plus V2 700 Series radio provides centralized control of compatible smart locks, lights, thermostats and other Z-Wave automation devices. Users can create customized scenes, schedules, rules and notifications through a compatible Alarm.com service.
Built-In Glass-Break Detection
Advanced onboard audio analytics allow the panel to listen for the sound of breaking glass. This integrated acoustic glass-break detection provides an additional layer of security without requiring a separate glass-break detector in the panel’s immediate coverage area.
Live Camera Viewing
Users can view live video from up to eight compatible Alarm.com or ONVIF network cameras directly on the panel’s touchscreen, with up to four camera feeds displayed simultaneously. Compatible video doorbells can provide live viewing, two-way audio and door-unlock control from the panel.
Clear Two-Way Voice Communication
Dual digital microphones with noise and echo cancellation work with front-firing speakers to provide clear two-way voice communication with a central monitoring station. The panel also includes an integrated siren, annunciations and system chimes.
